MISSION
CIASP's mission is to provide and disseminate information and resources for suicide prevention and mental health promotion in construction, with the goal of creating a zero-suicide industry.

Construction has one of the highest rates of suicide of any other industry: According to the CDC construction rates number two in occupations for deaths by suicide with over 5000 deaths per year. Suicide rates for male construction workers are almost twice as high as for working men overall.
